Welcome to Dalalwa Cafe, a quaint haven nestled in the vibrant heart of Mubarakiya Souk, Kuwait City. This charming establishment is not just a cafe; it’s an experience that transports you back in time with its vintage decor and tranquil atmosphere. As you step inside, the soft murmur of conversations blends seamlessly with the rich aroma of traditional teas and Arabic coffee, inviting you to take a moment to unwind.

Dalalwa Cafe specializes in a delightful array of teas, offering every kind you can imagine. From the robust and invigorating black teas to the delicate and fragrant herbal blends, there’s something to suit every palate. Patrons who adore a traditional experience rave about the 'chai istikanah,' a classic cup of tea that embodies the essence of Kuwaiti culture. According to one satisfied customer, "Come, relax and enjoy a sip of chai," perfectly summing up the cafe’s alluring appeal.

The atmosphere here is optimally serene, making it an ideal spot for quiet reflection or a gathering with friends. With the bustling Mubarakiya Souk just outside, Dalalwa provides a perfect respite after exploring the vibrant market. “It is good to have a short break in souk with tea or cafe with locals,” shared another visitor, emphasizing the enriching social experience that awaits.

While the cafe doesn’t serve a full menu of meals, it does offer a selection of traditional Kuwaiti sweets and cakes that promise to tantalize your taste buds. Be sure to check out the mini counter for 'altaibawy kunafa,' a sweet delicacy that is as irresistible as it is delicious. Customers have noted the charm of the café without the distraction of a heavy menu, appreciating the focus on quality beverages and local sweets instead.

For those who enjoy a more relaxed vibe, Dalalwa Cafe also permits indoor smoking, ensuring that you can savor your cup while enjoying the company of fellow patrons in a laid-back setting. One customer highlighted it as “an ideal break spot after a long walk in Mubarakiya,” further showcasing the café’s role as a community staple where both locals and tourists come together.

It is a tea's and arabian coffee Cafe , there is all kind of tea's here , the place was good for quietness and calming and gathering, the decoration there is vintage. There is no food, only old types of kuwait sweets and cakes , and there is (altaibawy kunafa) mini counter/shop in the corner u can enjoy . The cafe located in the heart of mubarakiya souk, u can go there by walking only , all the avenues are straight and wheelchair accessible, the tea there made on stove, in front of this cafe there is RASHED TEA CAFE , they are professional in tea's, and all their stuffs are made on CHARCOAL, 100% better taste.

If you're looking for that classic and authentic Kuwaiti tea house, look no further. The tea is remarkably good too. Downside is that it's incredibly hot most of the year there. You're better off visiting from late December to March.
